"Screen If You Wanna Go Faster" - show images

The show opened last Wednesday and Gorm has the shots from the opening on the Tweaker Blog.

All the prints are for sale and you can either contact me (funeralfrench@yahoo.com) or Stu (stu@lovenskate.com). Mines a drawing of a pigs head printed in Pigs blood.

Last few Prints for Sale

I thought all of these were sold, but turns out the gallery that was selling them had about 5 left of each, so if you wanna get one nows the time. They could be pretty good christmas presents.

They're limited to a run of 20 and they're very well screen printed by Lovenskate Stu, signed and number. There really are no more once these are all gone. So if you wanna get one either visit the online store or email me at funeralfrench@yahoo.com

Turbochainsaw Magazine

I got this today, the new Turbochainsaw Mag, it's a really good "zine" but more like a little book. I'm super into it. I have the below drawings in it. Along with me there are some really rad artists in there, like Craig Questions and Rob Pybus to name just 2. Its Issue 3 of the mag so I'm sure you can get the other 2 and this one if you need. I'm so into the home made publications at the moment and this is top notch.

If you feel the need to get one have a look on www.turbochainsaw.co.uk

Antiz - Julian Dykmans Board

The good men at Antiz sent me a couple of the new Dykmans board, it's a use of my graphic, Mr Dykmans himself asked me if he could use it, stoked he likes it enough. Its an 8" board, not too long and made on Eu (jart) wood, so it's pretty good. A bit small for me, but I have one extra so I'll sell it on my onine store. Out of all the things I make work for I online collect boards.

Lions of tsavo (firelung)

The Lions of Tsavo cd came out really well, I'm pretty stoked on the cover and the little booklet looks rad. It uses a bunch of works I already had, but the design and layout is pretty cool. I have a bunch for sale that I'll put on my online store for £5.

Scion Instalation 5, Art Basel, Miami 2008

So I just got back from being at Art Basel with Scion for the Installation 5 show. There should be foto's on the Scion site soon. It was rad, but short time. I'd never been to an art fair before so it was an education for me. It was rad to get to go to Florida, get to be in the home of death metal and also to spend time with some old and new friends.

I just wanna say a massive thanks to Karen, Ian, Edith, Evan all at Beyond and also to Matt Cass, Kelley, Brock and Jen for making my very short trip to Miami really good fun. cheers ....

Ravenlord Tattoo

So Paul Roberts got down for life..... with a Ravenlord Tattoo, good on ya son.

"Screen if you wanna go faster"

Make sure if you're in London you come to the "Screen if you wanna go faster" exhibition opening next week. My very good friend Lovenskate Stu the master screen printer has been working his arse off to make some very limited and special screen prints with a group of amazing artists including some of my very special friends .... Rich Gill, Marcus Oakley, Chrissie Abbott among others.

So come on down..... my special print is a drawing of a pigs head, printed in pig's blood. Can't wait to see what it looks like....

Off to Florida... in the morning.

I'm leaving Aus for Florida tomorrow I have a drawing in the Scion Installation Exhibition as part of the Art Basel Event in Miami, if you're in the area come down to say hello. I'm imagining that as some of the best death metal bands are Florida death metal everyone in Florida is a redneck, metal-lover.... and I'm gonna be hanging out with Glen Benton and hunting with Obituary.

I've never been that far south, but I'm hoping that there's gonna be some pretty redneck stuff to see... if I can get away from glitzy Miami.

I'll let you know how it goes......

Funeral Fog, Monster Children Gallery, Sydney

The Funeral Fog exhibition at Monster Children opened on Thursday, this show's a little different to the other 2 as me and Joe decided to a proper installation with a wall painting again but also decorating the floor. It worked out really good. The originals in this one are all on a theme of story telling, magic and myths. Considering I've never done that kinder thing before it worked out really good. Thank god Joe can understand maths cos drawing a massive pentagram with out it could have been difficult.

This show was the 3rd and final in the 3 shows of the Altar of Invocation Tour I have had through Australia.

I just wanna say a massive thanks to all the people I met and helped out on the Altar of Invocation Tour - Australia 2008. It's been a seriously amazing group of 3 exhibitions and each city and event has been totally different and fun. Thanks again you're all sickunts:
